Paddle the scenic Oconomowoc River and connected lakes on a relaxing 3-hour journey. Along the way, you’ll pass woodlands, schools of fish, the historic La Belle Cemetery, and Riverview Park, ending at Fowler Lake in the heart of downtown Oconomowoc.
🚣 How It Works:
✅Reserve your rental: Book Online or by TEXT/phone. Let us know your name, desired Launch site, and what equipment you’ll need.
✅Meet at: The Launch Site.
✅Payment: Done at the launch site with cash/credit or paid in advance by credit card for Lock and Go.
✅Finish: Paddle to the Takeout site and meet us for the shuttle, or lock up equipment, if Lock and Go was arranged in advance.

Challenge Level: Easiest and most accessible. (Easiest option)

Route: Same as above – paddle to Upper Oconomowoc Lake, then portage to the river.

Parking: Free – There is public parking on Wisconsin Ave across the street from the boat launch or we can pick you up at the park and ride 3 blocks West of the launch

OCONOMOWOC RIVER ACCESS

Location: Across the street and northwest of Silver Lake Auto Center in Oconomowoc, WI.

Route: Shortest, no-portage route. Paddle south to the Oconomowoc Lake Dam, then return downstream to Fowler Lake.

Challenge Level: Moderate. Participants must traverse an uneven concrete and Lannon stone path to reach the water. There is no easy water entry at this location.

📍 Fowler Lake Boat Launch
- FOWLER LAKE BOAT LAUNCH
- Location: Downtown Oconomowoc, WI, in the large municipal parking lot at the Fowler Lake boat launch.

Route: No-portage route. Paddle south to the Oconomowoc Lake Dam, then back downstream to Fowler Lake.

Challenge Level: Longest route. Easy, using the kayak launch for entry and exit from the water.
- Launch fee of $5 per kayak to the City of Oconomowoc in the drop box.
