How it works and what to expect
At PRS Watersports, we make kayaking easy and convenient by delivering high-quality kayaks directly to public water access points throughout the Lake Country area. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing paddle on a calm lake—starting and returning to the same launch—or you’re up for more adventure along the Bark or Oconomowoc Rivers, we’ve got you covered.

River Tours:
Looking for a flowing water experience? We deliver. You paddle. It’s that easy.
📍 Bark River – Start at Lower Nemahbin Lake or the HWY P river access, then paddle downstream through Crooked Lake and get picked up at Genesee Lake Road. We provide shuttle service so your vehicle is waiting at the end.

📍 Oconomowoc River – Wind through multiple lakes and urban river paths, with several launch points available. Some routes include portages; see our Oconomowoc River page for details.

-A typical tour group will:
- Meet at the parking area, complete payment, and waiver forms.
- Participate in a brief safety and equipment training session.
- Go over basic entry, exit, and paddling techniques.
- Ride the bus to the launch, unload boats, and from there your adventure begins.
- You will paddle downstream to the take out point.
- The shuttle meets you at the take o point, we load the boats and return to the parking area.
What should I wear?
Dress according to water temperature and weather forecast this may be:
- Water-shoes or shoes that can get wet, “snug fitting not flip flops”
- Lightweight active wear or a swimsuit, or a combination of these
- Windbreaker, or rain jacket (snug fitting is best)
- Avoid: loose-fitting clothing or clothing that will retain water when wet, thick sweatshirts, sweatpants, jeans
What should I bring:
- Sunscreen
- Sunglasses, Hat
- Water
Optional items:
- Dry storage bag, case, etc.
- Mobile Phone/camera if in dry storage
- Small cooler
- Snacks / Lunch
What not to bring:
- DO NOT bring any GLASS!
- Valuables

Am I ready for this?
Guidelines from the American Canoe Association you should be able to:
- Breathe independently (i.e., not require medical devices to sustain breathing)
- Independently maintain sealed airway passages while under water
- Independently hold head upright without neck / head support
- Manage personal care independently or with assistance of a companion
- Manage personal mobility independently or with a reasonable amount of assistance
- Follow instructions and effectively communicate independently or with assistance of a companion
- Independently turn from face-down to face-up and remain floating face up while wearing a properly fitted life jacket
- Get on / off or in / out of a paddlecraft independently or with a reasonable amount of assistance
- Independently get out and from under a capsized paddlecraft
- Remount or reenter the paddlecraft following deep water capsize independently or with a reasonable amount of assistance
